Fun Facts
🚤 A BOAT INSIDE ANOTHER BOAT:
Probably the craziest feature on board is the 1961 Riva Ariston classic boat sitting on the main deck at the port side.
It is being used and displayed more as a piece of art rather than an actual usable tender, though it could actually be launched and used if needed.
Rather than tucking the tender in a garage, the owner insisted on showing off the fully restored classic speedboat. This decision forced the engineering team to design a concealed overhead crane system (basically two cranes combined) with a total 2’600 kg capacity built into the superstructure.
It is definitely one of the most unique features we’ve seen so far on a yacht.

⭐ EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE AMENITIES:
On the foredeck, they have put a boxing ring (that can obviously be removed). The owner is indeed described as someone who loves sport, and he requested a professional-grade boxing ring to be fitted on his vessel.
🎩 GENTLEMAN’S LOUNGE: Located on the forward main deck. It is a very nice and cozy social space featuring: a large seating area with an 85-inch screen, a glass-enclosed area on the right side that can be completely opened thanks to a drop-down balcony, a temperature-controlled walk-in wine cellar and a crimson-colored Berkel Volano slicing machine for charcuterie. For having been on board, I can say it is certainly the best spot on the vessel.
☀️ THE SUNDECK: Described as one of the largest in her class, featuring: a second jacuzzi, large sun pads, a dining table for 10 people under a hardtop, glass windscreens and a fire pit aft for evening entertaining.
👤 OWNER’S SUITE: And how could I not mention the owner's suite on the bridge deck aft? It features a standing walk-in wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom with sea-view windows (of course), a private outdoor terrace equipped with its own dining area, sunbeds, and a private jacuzzi. This space is reserved exclusively for the owner and is not accessible by the other guests.
👤 HE BOUGHT TWO:
The owner's identity is not publicly disclosed. Multiple outlets describe him as a male and a very experienced yacht owner. He commissioned “Serenissima I” as well as a second sister ship simultaneously, called “Serenissima II”, at the same shipyard. It's a very unusual approach, building two identical superyachts and then putting them both for sale immediately.
The price of “Serenissima I” was reduced by nearly 6 million euros in 18 months, which is a big signal that the owner is very keen to sell.
The captain, Philip Boehneck, serves as a fleet captain overseeing both vessels.

🎨 DESIGN BY THE ONE AND ONLY:
The design pedigree behind “SERENISSIMA I” is truly international, designed by Nuvolari Lenard (the Venice-based studio co-founded by Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard). They are famous for the 81-meter “Alfa Nero” and the 122-meter Lürssen “Kismet”. They handled both the exterior and interior of this yacht.
The exterior features a stainless steel plated bow that deliberately echoes the 142-meter Lürssen “Nord”, which was also designed by Nuvolari. Her lines reflect a certain masculinity with a powerful high bow, but she also has her graceful feminine touches, from her sleek and elegant profile to her serene interior design.
The captain, Philip, summarized the design philosophy: "Our main intent was to build something different with a unique layout that had a targeted volume below 500 GT but would still feel like a much bigger yacht."
