Fun Facts

🎵 A BEATLES-INSPIRED LEGACY:

The original owner who commissioned the build was Alexander Dzhaparidze, a Georgian-Russian oilfield services magnate. Alexander is renowned in the yachting world for a highly personal branding tradition: naming every one of his vessels after a song by The Beatles.

His commitment to the Beatles theme extended across a diverse fleet of vessels:

● “Let It Be” - Heesen (37m) 2005

● “Let It Be” - Heesen (47m) 2007

● “Imagine” - Amels (65.5m) 2011

● “Here Comes The Sun” - Amels (83m) 2017

● “Come Together” - Amels (60m) 2022

🔝 NOT THE BIGGEST ANYMORE:

“Here Comes The Sun” was Amels’ largest yacht when delivered in January 2017.

She held it for 8 years and 8 months!

She got surpassed by the 120m “PROJECT TANZANITE”, soon delivering in 2026. You can also check out on my database.

🚤 TENDERS/BOATS ON BOARD:

● Custom color-matched limo tender (10.5 m Yachtwerft Meyer) (for guests, meant for enclosed luxury transfer)

● A fast RIB (9.2 m Yachtwerft Meyer) (for quick runs, beach drops and fun rides)

● A Super Air Nautique G23 (a wakeboard/ski boat designed for watersports like wakeboarding, surfing and tubing)

↔️ A 6-METER (18 FEET) HULL EXTENSION:

Under the ownership of Graeme Hart, the yacht returned to the Amels and Damen Yachting shipyard in Vlissingen in 2020 for what would become an award-winning rebuild. The primary objective was to increase the vessel's length and volume to accommodate additional amenities and modernize its appearance. The project was led by Azure Naval Architects in collaboration with the original Amels engineering team.

The most complex aspect of the refit involved cutting the steel hull to add a six-meter stern extension. This structural modification increased the yacht's overall length from 83 meters to 89 meters and necessitated a redesign of the aft decks. The extension allowed for several significant upgrades:

● Main Deck Aft: The swimming pool was extended to 7 meters in length and 4 meters in width, then fitted with contraflow jets for a counter-current swimming experience

● Beach Club: The beach club area was expanded to 120 square meters, featuring three-sided openings through fold-down terraces that enhance the connection to the sea

● Bridge Deck: Two new VIP suites were added, each featuring its own 12-meter-long private balcony

Also, during that same refit, the vessel received a full respray, going from beige to dark blue.

⭐ AMENITIES:

● The Museum Walkway: Access to the owner’s suite is granted through a starboard corridor lined with glass cabinets that display the owner's collection of antique silverware and ancient artifacts.

● The Duplex Arrangement: The suite features his and hers bathrooms and dressing rooms. The hers side is decorated in lacquered creams and whites with mother-of-pearl inlays. The his side is more masculine, featuring chiseled oak walls, leather furnishings and a private study with horsehide overheads and eel-skin wall coverings.

● Thermal Suite: Includes a sauna, a steam room and a plunge pool.

● Treatment Area: Features a dedicated massage room and a beauty salon.

● Main Deck Pool: The 7-meter swimming pool on the main deck is deep enough for diving and includes a glass-bottom section that allows light to filter into the beach club below.

● Cinema Room: A dedicated cinema on the main deck features a full-size projection screen that retracts to reveal a 100-inch television.

● Dining Capabilities: The main salon houses a formal dining table for 16 guests, while the bridge deck aft features a sheltered dining area for 24 guests, enclosed by sliding windbreak glass panels.

● Elevator: A glass elevator serves all guest decks, from the lower deck lobby to the sundeck.

● Dual Helipads: Following the 2021 refit, the yacht features two landing areas: a touch-and-go on the bow and a fully certified pad on the sundeck aft, capable of supporting a Bell 429 or an EC 145.
